The London Heritage Portal has been designed to act as a resource for all people and organizations which share an interest in the local and/or regional heritage/culture community.

The following guidelines are designed to specify the categorization used within the Heritage Portal and provide assistance for users in determining where specific submissions fit into the site. It should be noted that, in certain circumstances, it is anticipated that multiple categories will be applicable to individual groups or organizations. In situations where multiple categorizations have taken place the Heritage Portal Coordinator reserves the right to select the most applicable categorization, although in extenuating circumstances, multiple categorizations will be permitted.

 

Consideration for the following guidelines will be made on a case-by-case basis.
