Art and history meet at Museum London! Our unique collections of artwork and artifacts combine to offer an exciting week of literacy, art and history. A variety of programming including art tours, studio programs, history programs and walking tours can all be incorporated into your Museum School week.
Location & Mandate
Museum London is located in downtown London at the intersection of Dundas and Ridout Streets overlooking the Forks of the Thames River. Museum London is proud to have one of Canada’s most important art collections, and one of the most significant historical artifact collections in Ontario. Eldon House, built in 1834, is located just up the street and is London’s oldest single family residence. It is perfectly preserved and furnished with exquisite antiques and treasures.
Program Information
Our Curator of Education works with the classroom teacher to custom-design a week-long museum school schedule best suited to the teacher’s interests and curriculum needs.
