Museums & Heritage Sites

London has many museums and heritage sites that cover a wide range of topics and interests; there is definitely something for everyone!  Please see the listing of these sites along the right hand side.

The London Heritage Council works with many of these sites through partnerships and collaborations to bring dynamic events, programming and educational opportunities to visitors and residents of London.  The LHC also supports many of these organizations through the Community Heritage Investment Program, DO London and the Training and Professional Development Program.

Senior Heritage Museum Managers Roundtable

In a continued effort to provide the sector with increased opportunities for networking, collaboration and cooperation, the London Heritage Council brought this group together with an initial meeting held in the Fall of 2008.

A dialogue between the participating museum managers, the LHC and the City of London Culture Office has sprouted mutually beneficial meaning and value to all parties.  By opening the channels of communication, a dynamic exchange of ideas continues to allow the museum managers to learn and grow, and the LHC to better understand and meet the needs of the sector.

The Roundtable meets quarterly to discuss relevant issues and topics and to further the development of heritage and culture in London.
